Cleat Study

Are you an experienced soccer player, actively playing or training at least once a week?

Are you interested in advancing the field of soccer cleat innovation?

We are a research team from the University of Oregon’s Bowerman Sport Science Center specializing in the advancement of performance footwear, based on biomechanical analyses of athletic movement patterns.

We are looking for biological male and female athletes, aged 18-26 to participate in a study optimizing traction patterns to reduce lower extremity injury risk. You must have no history of lower extremity injury in the past year, and no history of anterior cruciate ligament injury. Shoe size should be a Men’s 10-11, or Women’s 8-9 [+/- a half size].

This study requires 2 lab visits to the Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center and the Moshofsky Center for approximately 2.5 hours each, where you will receive $40 compensation per visit, for a total of $80.
