Jarod is a PhD candidate in both the Hahn and Willet lab. His research aims to bridge the gap between pre-clinical and clinical research ongoing at the University of Oregon. His current project is elucidating the unexplored space of tendon fluid dynamics, with a focus on the Achilles tendon and its tendency towards disease and injury. Before coming to Oregon Jarod worked on the fluid dynamics of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain and the magnetohydrodynamics of liquid metal batteries
Personal
Jarod loves to be active – playing sports or running whenever he has the chance. He also enjoys to cook and explore Eugene’s food scene.
